CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY

At Tantvari, we deeply value craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Each of our products is handcrafted, and natural variations in weaving, texture, and finish are an inherent part of handloom artistry—making every piece unique. While these characteristics are not considered defects, we understand that issues can occasionally arise and are happy to assist in genuine cases of damage or defects, subject to the terms below.

Return Eligibility

A return request will be considered only under the following conditions:

  • The request must be raised within 2 days of receiving the product

  • Returns are accepted only for damaged or defective items

  • The product must be returned within 7 working days of delivery

  • Items must be unused and in their original, saleable condition, with all tags, labels, original folds, invoices, and packaging intact

For international orders, customers must not ship items back without prior confirmation from Tantvari, as direct shipping may result in customs duties. Our team will guide you through the appropriate return process.

How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Raise a Return Request

Step 2: Return Shipment (Only After Approval)

Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with further instructions for shipping the product back.

Please ensure:

  • Your name, order number, and contact number are clearly mentioned on the package

  • The original invoice is included inside the parcel

  • The product is shipped via a company-recommended courier service (our team can assist if required)

Do not ship any product before receiving return approval.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation:

  • Products where tailoring, alteration, or custom services have been availed

  • Damage resulting from improper use, washing, storage, or handling

  • Clearance or discounted sale items (unless received damaged)

Customers are advised to handle all products with care to avoid disqualification from the return process.

Quality Inspection

All returned products undergo a detailed quality inspection upon receipt. Based on the assessment:

  • The return may be approved or rejected

  • If approved, one of the following options will be offered:

    • A credit note/voucher redeemable on the Tantvari website

    • An exchange for a product of equal or lower value

All decisions regarding returns are at Tantvari’s sole discretion. Items that do not meet our policy conditions may be declined.

Return Shipping Charges

  • Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer

  • If the return is due to an error from Tantvari’s side, return shipping charges will be reimbursed in the form of a credit note

Damaged or Tampered Packages

If you receive a package that appears tampered with, damaged, or unsealed, please do not accept delivery.

Once inspected, if it is confirmed that the damage was not caused by customer handling, Tantvari will offer:

  • A credit note, or

  • An exchange or replacement, as deemed appropriate

Product Descriptions & Variations

All product details such as colour, size, weight, and handwork are approximate and subject to minor variations due to the handcrafted nature of our products.

  • Handwork & Embellishments: Beaded, embroidered, or sequinned items may experience occasional detachment despite careful handling. This is a natural characteristic and not grounds for return.

  • Creative Descriptions: Product descriptions are interpretative and artistic in nature. Returns will not be accepted based solely on perceived differences in description content.

Colour Disclaimer

While we make every effort to display accurate product colours, slight variations may occur due to:

  • Screen resolutions and display settings

  • Lighting conditions during photography

  • Individual device configurations

A variation of up to 10% in colour tone is considered normal and is not eligible for return or exchange.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch or processing, subject to a 3% cancellation fee.

To request cancellation:

  • Email info@tantvari.com

  • Mention “CANCEL” along with your Order Number in the subject line

Once an order has been approved or dispatched, cancellation requests will not be accepted.

Refunds

Tantvari reserves the right to determine the mode of refund—whether as a credit note, voucher, or exchange.

Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days after the returned product successfully clears quality inspection.

Dispute Resolution & Legal Jurisdiction

In case of any dispute related to returns, refunds, or cancellations, customers may write to info@tantvari.com. Tantvari’s decision shall be final and binding.

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and all disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of India. Tantvari’s liability, in all cases, is limited to the value of the product purchased.
